Christmas is just around the corner!

As a candle maker, the Christmas season is one of my absolute favourite times of the year. There's something so special about creating cozy, beautiful candles that will end up in homes, spreading warmth and joy all around. But with the holiday excitement comes the need to prepare for the busy season ahead—so I wanted to share a bit about how we get ready to make sure we can meet all the holiday demand and bring a little extra cheer to our customers this year.

**Stocking Up on Essentials Early**

One of the first things on my holiday prep list is stocking up on all the materials I’ll need. Every year, I learn just how quickly supplies can run out as demand peaks, so I’ve been ordering my soy wax, wicks, jars, fragrances, and all the packaging supplies I’ll need. This way, I can be sure I’ll have everything ready for when orders start to flow in.

**Creating a Special Holiday Collection**

Looking for seasonal scents that really capture the holiday spirit can be fun, and this year we have created a Gingerbread scent and Mistletoe & Ivy scent to get us into the Christmas spirit.  We have also brought in some personalisation on labels, with some great Christmas-themed label quotes extra special for gift-giving.

**Focusing on Festive Packaging**

For the holidays, I’m adding a few extra touches to make each candle feel like a little gift in itself. From holiday labels to festive ribbons, I'm doing my best to make each order feel special from the moment it arrives. I want each candle to feel like it’s part of a magical holiday tradition.

**Boosting My Online Presence**

I’ll be sharing lots of holiday updates and our Christmas collection on social media, so keep an eye out on our Instagram and Facebook pages! I love the festive vibe of this season, so expect lots of photos, and behind-the-scenes moments, and maybe even some fun holiday-themed giveaways. 

 **Setting Up Clear Shipping Deadlines**

One of my biggest priorities is making sure your orders arrive in time for the holidays. I’ll be sharing clear shipping deadlines as we move into December. This includes personalised orders too—so if you’d like a custom message or label, be sure to place your order a bit earlier to ensure everything arrives perfectly and on time.

**Looking Beyond Christmas**

Finally, I’m preparing for the post-holiday season as well. Christmas is magical, but I know many of you love cozying up with candles well passed Christmas. So, I’m planning some New Year’s specials and summer scents to help keep your candle obsession alive through January and beyond.
